Resorption on a Central Incisor

Resorption on a Central Incisor

This radiograph and arrow represent resorption occuring on a central incisor.  Since we do not have previous radiographs of this tooth it can not be determined if this is internal or external resorption.  Regardless of the diagnosis the treatment will remain the same.  The tooth will need to be extracted and a bridge fabricated or an implant placed.
