Premolar Bone Graft

Prior To Extraction and Bone Graft

After Extraction and Bone Graft

The first radiograph shows a premolar with a vertical bone defect (red arrow).  The patient gives a long history of problems with this tooth and a previous bone graft.  The patient was not willing to spend anymore money on this tooth and wished to have an implant placed.  The tooth was extracted very carefully and a bone graft was placed into the socket.  The bone graft material used was Purous.
