A nutritious diet is essential to good oral health. One of the best places to get highly-nutritious foods for healthy eating is your local farmer’s market. Plus, you get to support your neighbors and keep business in the community!
Here in Vancouver, Washington, we’re fortunate enough to have a wide variety of farmer’s markets available either in town or within a short driving distance. In this guide, we’ll show you when local farmer’s markets are open, how to get to them, and other helpful information about each market.
Did you know that some farmer’s markets in Vancouver also accept SNAP (supplemental nutrition assistance program) benefits? We’ve indicated which markets accept SNAP within each profile. At the market, you can visit the EBT/debit stand at the market, exchange your SNAP credit for wooden tokens, then use those tokens to buy healthy foods at market booths.
