Free And Reduced Cost Dental Care In Vancouver Washington

While our office does not offer free and reduced cost dental services, we recognize that there are many citizens in Vancouver who struggle to afford their dental care. Fortunately, there are many organizations in the Vancouver area who do offer free and low cost dental care. If you are in need of these resources, here is a list of places in Vancouver, Washington and Clark County where you can get dental care at an affordable price.

Who Is This Service Right For?

Free and discount clinics are available for patients with limited income, no insurance, or other financial hardships. If you’re looking for a slight discount on your dental services to save a few bucks, it’s probably not right for you – if you want to save some money on your dental care, check out Dr. Bowyer’s special discounts page. If you or your family members must forgo necessary dental care for financial reasons, these providers can help.

Free Clinics

Free Clinic of Southwest Washington

About: The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington provides urgent dental care to families who are low-income and do not have dental insurance. Services are free, but you must qualify for treatment. You may be asked for an optional donation, but no one will be turned away if they are unable to pay. Services are also limited – see the “services” section for a complete list of what is offered. More services are offered for children than adults.

All dental appointments must be scheduled ahead of time – no walk-in appointments are available. Call the clinic during their open hours to schedule your appointment. Dental clinics take place in the dental van.

Services: For children: fillings, extractions, sealants, fluoride, stainless steel crowns, space maintainers. For adults: fillings and extractions.

New Heights Dental Clinic

About: New Heights Dental Clinic is a community service offered by New Heights Church. This clinic offers free services for Clark County residents who do not have any dental insurance and have an income below three times the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Patients are seen by appointment only – you must call ahead, and a limited amount of appointments are available on a first come, first served basis.

Services are free to those who qualify, but only a limited amount of services are available. Dentures, crowns, and cleanings are not available.

Services: Fillings, basic extractions, and simple root canals (front teeth).

Battle Ground Health Care Dental Clinic

About: The Battle Ground Dental Clinic offers free dental care to individuals who qualify. All patients must be at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level Guidelines. Patients must be between 18 and 65 years of age.

About: Clark College offers low-cost dental services, administered by students under the direct supervision of licensed dental hygienists and dentists. Services are offered at a discounted rate for anyone in the Vancouver/Portland community. Patients are selected for care based on the educational needs of the students, though, so your dental needs must align with the current educational need of the school. All new patients are required to schedule a screening appointment prior to treatment – these appointments are available on Friday mornings. Call the clinic ahead of time to schedule your screening appointment.

Cascadia Tech Academy Dental Clinic
